The after-work crowd gathers in droves in this surprisingly spacious bar. The furnished wood and black and white pictures on the wall give it a polished edge, and the old-fashioned deli in the back of the bar, stocked with sandwiches and Gatorade, makes it a little more everything-for-everyone.

Grab a table in front of one of the six plasma screens or five TV screens, which normally show the game of the hour. Or pick a place at the bar, which encompasses the entire space in a circle, making it easy to get a bartender's attention from any seat. Decision-making comes easy thanks to daily drink specials: Mondays feature $3.50 you-call-it, Tuesdays pour $3 drafts, Wednesdays boast $3 shots and select cocktails and select bottled beer is just $1 on Thursdays. Start the party off right with $1 Apple Pucker and jello shots on Fridays and Saturdays. You'll also find $3.50 burgers on Mondays and $5 Bavarian pork loin sandwiches on Wednesdays, so if your fridge is empty and your wallet is thinning, dinner out is an option here.

Late-late hours make it easy to chill after watching the game with a few more drinks than you might need. Can't stay long? Pick up a little something for the night at the adjacent 1000 Liquors; an opening between the store and the bar means you don't have to step foot outside.
