Editorial Review of Iguana Cafe

They're few and far between, but when you find a coffeehouse-cum-bar that's open late, has tasty food, and can sate your cappuccino and gin-and-tonic craving in one fell swoop, you know it's a keeper. Iguana Cafe certainly fits the bill. This European coffeehouse and lounge, bedecked with wooden tables and burnt orange and golden walls, is spacious and airy. It's the perfect locale for a lazy lunch with a friend or a late-night study session with a much-needed glass of wine.

The under-$7 menu includes a variety of salads and panini-toasted sandwiches with specialty ingredients like baked zucchini and Muenster cheese. Not in the mood for a meal? Grab two cups of coffee and split a Nutella, walnut and cinnamon crepe with a friend for an afternoon treat. Think you're too busy during the day to relax with the paper and a warm drink? You have no excuses; Iguana Cafe is open until 1 a.m. every night but Saturday...when it keeps its doors open until 2 a.m.
