Blink and you'll miss a ragingly sweet cocktail experience at the tucked-away M Lounge. The martini list features delicious-as-dessert flavors like the Lemon Meringue, a blend of vanilla vodka, Grand Marnier, sour mix and cream. The Juicy Melon shakes up Ketel One with Midori melon liqueur and a dash of orange juice; chocoholics will adore the Godiva-liqueur-infused Chocolate Surprise or the Chocolate Covered Banana.
The bar features an outstanding liquor selection with nary a hangover-happy bottle in sight; Stoli serves as the "well" vodka here. For those who hit up M Lounge for the music instead of the booze (M's soundtrack features jazz from the likes of Betty Carter, with slated live jazz performances), look for a menu of fruity "mocktails."
Decorated by owner Reginald Marsh and his wife Maryann (yup, that's where the M comes from) the ripe-for-chillin' spot features leather couches, suede chairs, fuzzy throws and soft candlelight. A curtained-off room in back can accommodate six; the intimate space boasts its own chandelier, plush couches and a flat-screen TV that projects performances from the stage up front.
