Cost: $10 regular day pass ($5 for students/seniors/bike riders), $19 Membership Fast Pass ($14 for students/seniors/bike riders), children under 12 Free

Organizer: Global Exchange and Co-Op America

What to expect: Over 300 exhibits will be featured at Navy Pier, including eco-friendly merchandise, how-to workshops, green career info, a Kids Zone and organic food and drink. Plus, there will be five stages of speakers.

Why to go: It's a chance to show that the city has moved on from its "Jungle" days...plus, it's not like you can buy solar panels just anywhere.
