What to expect: International and domestic wine samples, local food in an open-air market, cooking demonstrations and live music.
Why to go: You'll have sour grapes if you miss the grape-stomping competition (4 p.m.). Teams of two will summon their inner Lucy and climb into vats full of grapes to stomp it out.
Additional info: The $6 donation can be bumped up to $15 for wine-tasting (1-6 p.m.). Proceeds benefit the Y-ME Breast Cancer Organization-Illinois Affiliate and the Old Town Merchants and Residents Association. It costs an extra $50 (donated to Y-ME) to enter the grape-stomping competition. Registration can be taken care of in advance through Chicago Special Events Management. Check-in by 3:45 p.m. at North and Wells.
