Mr. Kite's moved from its State Street location to this larger space in summer 2007; now you can stretch out as you wait to taste the treats on display: chocolate (in all flavors and shapes), truffles, chocolate covered strawberries, caramel apples, marzipan and popcorn.

Since 1987, Mr. Kite's has been serving up sophisticated sweets and creating corporate and gift packages. My pick is the s'mores with peanut butter, a twist on the traditional treat, with a glob of the good stuff alongside the chocolate middle.
