The Cook Memorial Public Library District's mission is to provide and promote open access to information, ideas and creative expression and to encourage life-long learning and personal growth. The library district serves 60,000 residents in Libertyville, Vernon Hills, Mettawa, Mundelein, Indian Creek, Green Oaks and unincorporated areas of Libertyville Township.
