1873 - 1958

Georgene Faulkner, a lifelong resident of Chicago, introduced many young Chicagoans to reading on her WMAQ and WGN radio shows, "The Story Lady" and "Air Castle." She attended School of Education at the University of Chicago, which was then in its glory days.
