| Chicago producer/bassist (Tortoise) best known for his recent work with Liz Phair, Loud Lucy, Veruca Salt, and even Whale (you may remember their hit single, "Hobo Humpin' Slobo Babe"). Lately, he's recorded singer/songwriter Diane Izzo's debut, produced Verbow's forthcoming second album, and the recording of his New York off-Broadway rock musical Hedwig And The Angry Inch. He's apparently moving to Los Angeles, though, to get away from weather after some 35 years in the area. He and wife Maria Suarez now have a daughter, Olivia Asta.
