Her music career started way back in Nebraska, growing up with different crowds from punk to house, to hip hop and drum and bass. Carla moved to Chicago twelve years ago and started projects like The Stereotypes with Damon Keller, working with Chicago's own DJ Mary Jane, Lunchbox Law of Stony Island, Julio Davis of J. Davis Trio just to name a few. Since then Carla took things in her own hands and has been spinning deep house and adding her own original live soulful vocals over her records. You can also find her doing spiritual healings, or leading meditation sessions throughout the city, all things positive.
