| Poet-turned-singer/songwriter has two recordings, Bingo City and an eponymous CD. Her music has been aired on the nationally syndicated folk radio show "The Midnight Special," and she has appeared at Chicago's most notable coffeehouses, including Uncommon Ground, No Exit, and Changes, and even entered a national Internet contest for the opportunity to perform at Lilith Fair. After a traumatic performance at the University of Illinois, Catalani gave up entertaining for nearly 20 years. During this time, she earned a master of fine arts degree in poetry from the University of Arizona, and taught writing for five years at Stanford University. After several years of singing in the Friday night "song circle" at the Old Town School of Folk Music, she returned to the public stage, performing first at open mikes, and then on the coffeehouse circuit.
