The group was formed in 1999 by Bobby Lipar and Sam Camden as a rock 'n' roll and swingin' country alternative to the indie, mopey, alt-rock bands on the alternative scene.
Billy Denk of the Educated Cowboys joined in 2003 adding multi-instrumental textures to the group and former Johnny Cash / JuJu Bees drummer Robert Broz came aboard in 2005 to loosen up the rhythms of this tightly wound bunch of maniacs.
Today the group performs their brand of rock and roll nightly at gin joints, honky tonks and biker bars throughout Chicago and beyond...the bar band kings of Chicago!
