| Guitar driven, straight-away indie-rock led by female vocalist Kim Harne. They have a full-length, Days in the Sun, as well as a 1996 cassette-only holiday recording, Just One Night, and a CD mini, Pablo Fiasco. They've added a fifth member (additional guitarist Timm Johnson) and are hoping to release a full length CD in early 1999. NBC's made-for-TV movie "The Secret" and ABC's "Detention" included a few cuts from Days. They were recently signed by a west coast management firm, JJM. Pretty tight band for this garage genre! Backstage Pass Magazine calls them "One of Chicago's best unkown bands," and was nominated for Best Band of 1997 by the Entertainer Indi-Association, an organization of North American indie artists and industry professionals . Several members are in the Kiss tribute band, Kings of the Nightime World... Says the band in 1997: Over last summer we played everywhere... Dome Room, Beat Kitchen, Taste of Chicago, the Regional Music Showcase in St. Louis, Rock Island Brewing Company, several venues in Kenosha & Milwaukee Wi... all over the place. We also released our first full-length CD, "Days in the Sun". I do not believe I sent you a copy and if this is correct let me know. I will send you one asap. "Days" has been added to over 100 radio station playlists across the country and had one cut, 'Lay Me Down', charted in the top 100 at CMJ. "Days" is about to be released in Europe on an Irish label (remaining nameless until the ink is dry, if you know what I mean...). In addition, three cuts were licensed by NBC for use in 'The Secret', a made-for-TV movie which aired Jan. 6. Another movie deal is currently in the works and should be finalized by the end of the month. As soon as we know more, so will you.
