| What do you get when you blend the chugging rhythms of Jamaica, the energy and emotion of American Motown, and the over the top pub/rock of The Pogues? Deal's Gone Bad a diverse 9 piece straight off the Chicago streets. DGB has been performing their unique brand of 50's & 60's Jamaican music for the past 10 years. DGB blends reggae, rocksteady, and ska music with American soul in a fiery brew all their own. From 1997's Jump Up! Records debut "Large & in Charge", to 1999's "Overboard", through 2002's "Guide to Boat Drinks and Cruise Cocktails" DGB has steadily built a following from the east to west coasts via regional touring and high profile opening performances for the likes of Flogging Molly, Hepcat, The Skatalites, Toots & the Maytals, Laurel Aitken, Justin Hinds and more. All three albums have performed well in Europe via Grover or Mad Butcher records. 2003 saw the addition of new vocalist Todd Hembrook (formerly of Heavy Step) to advance DGB's sound to a new soulful level to move your feet and win your heart. Keep you eyes out for the new album due out Summer 2005. For more information, visit their website: http://www.dealsgonebad.com
