| Diver was born in the fall of of 2003 at the Mystic Celt in Chicago, although the name wasn't settled until a few gigs later. The band grew out of Tony's longtime partnerships both hosting the Open Jam with Anto at Vaughan's Pub with in the Lakeview neighborhood every Tuesday night, and playing with Avi in several previous projects. Chris had started attending the jam to follow in the footsteps of every other drummer who aspires to sing and play guitar, and after subbing in another of Tony's bands, helped previous intentions to form a full-on electric cover band coalesce into the potent quartet it has since become. Drawing primarily on bands from the U.K., along with a healthy dose of soul and funk, Diver can often be found entertaining pubgoers along Southport Avenue in Chicago at venues like Cullen's and Blue Bayou. Tony, Anto and Chris continue to host the Open Jam at Vaughan's every Tuesday as well. For more information, visit their website: http://www.divertheband.com
