| Drummer Jimmy Bennington brings his brand of Jazz to the Morseland every Sunday evening. Based in Chicago, Bennington performs internationally, using the drums as timekeeper, colorist, and conductor to propel, cajole, and inspire both audiences alike. Guest artists include pianists Ben Boye and Jim Baker, trombonist Jeb Bishop, AACM tenor saxophonist Ed House, Jazz great Perry Robinson, bassists Dan Thatcher, Brian Sandstrom, and former Sun Ra Arkestra electric bassist Rollo Radford. Bennington's recording Portraits and Silhouettes with trombone legend Julian Priester received an 'Honorable Mention' in All About Jazz New York's Best Recordings of 2007.
