| Local jazz youngster (completing his undergrad degree at DePaul) has won several outstanding soloist awards for his sax work: Jazz in the Meadows and the North American Music Festival in Toronto. He has performed with the NARA All-Star Grammy Band and with the NBA All-American Band in New Orleans. He is a current member of the Chicago Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra.
