| Morning shock-jock Mancow Muller, who was dubbed "Air Personality of the Year" in Billboard/Airplay Monitor's 1996 Awards, will no longer be on Q101 in the mornings. Effective July 14, 2006 the station has decided to keep it's radio station strictly music. Where does this leave the shock-jock? He plans on remaining in Chicago and is currently looking for a new home to air his morning show.
Mancow originally started out on WRCX's 103.5 FM in '94 before the station went off air. He then moved to Q101's 5:30am - 10am slot in 1998. Most recently, one of Mancow's cohorts "Cowboy Ray" was killed in a hit & run accident in Nov. 2005. The driver of that incident has yet to be caught and Mancow has offered a $23,000 reward to help find the killer(s). For more information, visit their website: http://www.mancow.com/
