| Multi-talented pianist/vocalist/arranger Mark Burnell has worked with a wide array of perfomers including Bobby McFerrin, Howie Mandel, and Connie Francis. He has also been on the music faculty of Carnegie Mellon, Northwestern, and Roosevelt Universities. In Chicago, Mark plays regularly with the John Burnett Orchestra, and at Gorham United Methodist Church. He has also enjoyed a decade long collaboration with wife Anne Burnell, performing in Chicago at places such as Davenport's, Andy's Jazz Club, House of Blues, Pops for Champagne, Park West, and Toulouse. Mark & Anne have also sang in Paris, New York, and Rome. Their CD releases include "Little Things We Do Together" and "Blues in the Night", available at CDbaby.com. The Chicago Sun-Times calls Mark's work "silky smooth and highly polished." His 1993 CD "Cooler by the Lake" with Richie Cole made the Chicago Tribune list of "10 best Chicago jazz CD's."
