Check out the semiannual solstice celebrations with Hamid Drake which have been running since 1991 (it's now necessary to get reservations some time in advance for them!). Zerang is co-founder of performance-art trio Liof Munimula and a prominent Chicago theater composer (he's recently scored several Redmoon Theatre productions). You can hear a small fraction of his collaboration with Drake on the 1996 Okka Disk release Ask the Sun.
