| Coming to Chicago as Lonnie Smith's bassist, the Louisiana-born Struck was one of the most distinctive voices (high-pitched) in the city's '60s blues scene, but somehow never became famous. Together with his brother, known as King Edward, an excellent guitarist, Struck recorded a recent album and played the 1998 Chicago Blues Festival.
