| Local indie rock quartet recently recorded a 4 song EP at Pulsars' Dave Trumfio's Kingsize Studios. I think they're going for something like a hybrid of grunge, garage and metal. Soundgarden and Living Colour are fairly obvious influences. While much of the work is derivitave to our ears, it's not a bad effort; it just sounds a bit dated. The final track on the EP, "Evermore" is the strongest by a large margin, K.V.'s female backing vocals and the notable absence of the cliche metal guitars show that these are some talented musicians with potential. The band is comprised of Billy Keller, vocals and guitars; Zake, drums; Kevin Holland, guitar; and K.V. on bass.
