 Shamanavi is an independent artist from Chicago whose experiments with sound began at an early age. His knowledge of electronic music composition & technique is self-taught. He grew up in a big family that appreciated abstract art & exposed him to all kinds of music as a child. Starting with an electronic drumkit at age 6, he quickly grew an intense passion for electronic music. In grade school, he picked up the saxophone & recorder. By high school he had established himself as a DJ spinning at several parties, lounges, & nightclubs throughout the Chicagoland area.
