| Indie-rock group is the alter-ego of Bill Callahan who is currently settled in Chicago after living in San Francisco and Sacramento, CA; Dover, New Hampshire; Buford, Georgia; and Pasadema Maryland. Drag City has recorded ten or so albums and EPs including Sewn to the Sky (1990), Red Apple Falls (1997), and the recent Knock Knock. Says the Chicago Reader's Monica Kendrick, "... Callahan's startlingly clear snapshots leave us with the image not of some whiny postcollegiate yob unloading sitcom tragedies in a bar but of a real, three-dimensional person using all his wits and self-discipline to hang in there."
