The Indoor Kids

The Indoor Kids, a three-piece rock band from Chicago, create a sound that will keep the listener wanting more. With intricate grooves, supersweet hooks, and raw intensity, this is a band that will keep you guessing but make you feel like you never missed a beat.

The Indoor Kids came to be in the summer of 2004. Local Chicago rocker, Bryan Manasse teamed up with Toledo bassist Daniel Huber and sessions drummer Dan Kuemmel (Overcoat Records' the Boas, Melvin Taylor) and the rest has been inexplicable bliss. Currently, The Indoor Kids are playing the local circuit like mad and are getting ready to return to the studio in 2005 to begin recording a full-length album. Though The Indoor Kids are still in the early stages of building their empire, the response has been incredibly positive.

Obviously, The Indoor Kids are no strangers to the music scene. With performances at the Beat Kitchen, Martyr's, Gunther Murphy's, the Elbo Room, Cubby Bear, Subterranean, North Beach, and US Beer Company (to name a few), as well as several clubs in Iowa and Wisconsin, the project has drawn well when given the opportunity. Currently, the band has been 'living' in the practice studio, tightening up and writing new material. The result has been an ultra-fluid and powerful brand of genre-bending music that’s as intoxicating as it is interesting.
