The official boat tour of the Chicago Architecture Foundation, this is the place to learn about more than 50 of Chicago's glorious buildings. The 90-minute cruises begin late-April and run through mid-November. Step aboard Chicago's First Lady or Chicago's Little Lady, take your pick of sunny or air-conditioned seats, and, if you'd like, purchase a beverage or snack.

Tickets cost $25 Monday-Friday; $27 Saturday-Sunday and holidays. There's no discount for children or seniors, but on the upside, a portion of your ticket price goes to support architecture education.

The boats are also available for private, chartered events; you can customize your evening party with food and beverage packages.
