For gyros that are hella good, a stop by Hellas Gyros is a must. Expect overflowing pitas that can hardly hold the meat, onions, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce that are stuffed in for a mere $3.95. A few hidden jalapenos give it a boisterous kick, making you blurt out an uncontrollable "damn, that's good." It's a good thing, too, because the decor certainly isn't the draw. The dark-paneled interior where you'll find a few somber men and handmade signs that loudly instruct you not to touch the ketchup or mustard if your order is to go, is admittedly a bit scary. Taking the to-go route may make your culinary experience a bit more tip-top.

The cheap eats menu also offers shish kabob and Italian beef sandwiches, as well as burgers, dogs, fries, and spinach pie. A quick glance at the drink refrigerators reveals bottles of MGD and Heineken alongside soda. The baklava, served up in huge portions, can occasionally be too sugary, but it's worth a try.
