The menu is full of modernized Italian dishes. The grilled calamari salad can double as dinner itself or can jump-start your meal in just the right way. The pesto ravioli with shrimp ($14) is sinfully creamy and rich, heavy on the sauce, and the seafood fettuccini ($18), with shrimp, scallops and clams in a tomato sauce, is equally divine. If you simply can't indulge, the grilled Cajun salmon sandwich is a solid compromise. Gourmet, brick-oven pizzas and a variety of sandwiches, salads and steak, chops and chicken dishes round out the menu. For those stopping in for lunch, Pazzo's has a deli that serves individual-size pizza, grilled sandwiches and salads.

The truly picky should head straight for the create-your-own section of the menu: Start with a $6.99 pizza crust or bowl of pasta and throw in add-ins like roasted eggplant, bocconcini mozzarella, fresh basil and pancetta. The drink menu includes a variety of mixed drinks, beer and wine. Staff is friendly, a bit slow to appear when you need them, but very accommodating.
