| In spite of their title, this theater troupe consists of only three actors (Molly Brennan, Adrian Danzig, and Paul Kalina), as well as a director and designer. They nevertheless bring the energy of 500 entertainers to their work. Best known for their many-times remounted production of 500 Clown Macbeth, they break down the stories they choose (Macbeth, Frankenstein, etc.) and use their clowning techniques to get at something essential in the tale while at the same time deconstructing it. A good fit for audience members who like experimental or highly physical theatre- one staple of a 500 Clown show are stunts that cause the audience to frequently fear for the actors' safety. These professionals have the situation well in hand, however. For more information, visit their website: http://www.500clown.com
