| Dan Decker, the 1988 American Film Institute award winner and founder of The Screenwriters Group. The school began in 1993 out of Dan's frustration of being a first time screenwriter and not being able to recieve guidance from Hollywood's top brass on how to properly write a cohesive screenplay. Ten years later the The Screenwriters is internationally recognized, award winning, and has grown to 7 locations in Chicago and Los Angeles. The program takes the screenwriter from first draft through rewrite, and when screenplays are market ready there may be an option to sign with our management company, Stylus Maganement, which pitches scripts to Hollywood Studios.
Dan is the author of "Anatomy of a Screenplay," and has had fifteen screenplays optioned to date.
