The House Theatre of Chicago seeks to break down the barriers between actor and audience, combining theatre, music, dance, magic and spectacle to create new works for the theatre.
Their very popular The Terrible Tragedy of Peter Pan in 2002 was widely hailed by critics and audiences alike. Since then, they have risen in prominence to become one of the best known companies in the city, presenting such original works as The Rocket Man, San Valentino and the Melancholy Kid, Curse of the Crying Heart and Dave DaVinci Saves the Universe. Led by Artistic Director Nathan Allen, this company usually produces their heavily pop-culture influenced shows at the Viaduct Theatre.
Their administrative office address is: 4700 N. Ravenswood Ave. #SW2. Chicago 60640. Their office phone is (773) 769-3832.
